  • Resumen: Lo escópico, lejos de ser un lenguaje cada vez más obsoleto, predomina hoy día como mediador de la comunicación en la sociedad globalizada. Por tanto es un lenguaje que se debe conocer y revisar en cuanto construye nuestra relación con el mundo y con los otros. Si bien los estudios semiológicos son bastante frecuentes al respecto, los estudios a través de su Morfometría - estudio científico de la forma y dimensiones de algo - como detonante son menos frecuentes. Con la forma como premisa, esta investigación establece relaciones - en ocasiones libres y dispares - , que revelan claves sobre su condición también antropológica, sociológica y filosófica. En otras palabras, a través de la forma como detonante se estudia la íntima relación de la imagen bidimensional con la construcción del pensamiento y los paradigmas imperantes en cada época. La tesis doctoral propone el encuadre-limes como estrategia de aproximación a la antropogénesis de la imagen bidimensional. A través de construir una aproximación visual inoperativa, inútil, desprovista de historia y de significados, se acerca a un estadio de apertura que pueda dar lugar a nuevos significados, si se está dispuesto a no obtener de esta ninguna certeza. ----------Abstract------------The scopic regime, far from being an increasingly obsolete language, prevails today as the main mediator of communication in globalized society. Therefore it is a language that must be studied and revised constantly, because it builds our relationship with the world and with the others. Semiotic studies are fairly frequent in this regard, but studies through its Morphometry - scientific study of the shape and dimensions of something - are less frequent. With the form as a premise, this research establishes relationships - sometimes free and disparate - that reveal clues about its anthropological, sociological and philosophical condition. In other words, through the study form, it is revealed the intimate relation of the two-dimensional image to the construction of thought and the prevailing paradigms in each epoch. The doctoral thesis proposes the frame-limes as a strategy of approach to the anthropogenesis and the génesis of the two-dimensional image. By constructing an inoperative, useless visual approach devoid of history and meanings, it approaches a stage of openness that can give rise to new meanings if one is willing to not obtain from it any certainty.
